ET has confirmed that the Department Of Children and Family Services called and asked for a sheriff's deputy to accompany DCFS investigators on Saturday around 1 p.m. to the home of BRITNEY SPEARS. A sheriff's Deputy Patrol went to the house with a DCFS investigator.
This is a DCFS investigation and the sheriff's department can not release information regarding the investigation
update:An L.A. County Sheriff's official tells TMZ that the Los Angeles Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) has closed its investigation into the welfare of Britney Spears' child.
The official said that his department accompanied DCFS to Spears' home on April 8, based on a complaint. We asked the Sheriff's rep if DCFS paid a visit because the complaint had merit. He said, "DCFS responds to all complaints." He added that DCFS closed the case on the spot, at the house. According to the rep: "Everyone was fine" so it was "case closed

Everytime a child is brought in to the hospital with a serious injury a case is opened and the family is investigated to make sure it isn't the parent or caregiver that's hurting the child. But once they visited the house and saw the high chair that broke the case was closed.

That just seems funny to me, espically since she waited so long to go to the hospital. Ithink it has to do with public opinion more than anything else. adn it waste our goverment money.

when it happened britney wasn't in the house just sean preston and the nanny, when britney and kevin arrived they called a doctor who went to the house to check him and found him "ok" and told them they wouldn't have to take him in, but days later he was sleeping too much so britney took hinm in and thats how they found out he had a fracture in his skull. Poor baby, the nanny just released a statement i'll try to get it and post it here, maybe cindy can find it over at lime light

yeah in some new pics you could see a HUGE bump on the side of his head, the poor baby, britney should sue the high chair company.

I couldn't believe it when I hered the news. I always thought Britney would be a good mom, but he has had some accidents here latley. But kids don't come with instrutions! I know that for a fact. I hope baby sean is okay.
